These Terms and Conditions (the ‘Terms’) are governed by Toyota (GB) PLC, Great Burgh, Burgh Heath, Epsom, KT18 5UX referred to as ‘We’, ‘Us’ or ‘Our’. ‘You’ or ‘Your’ shall mean the trade customer.
Parts Warranty Overview
Every genuine Toyota Part (a ‘Part’) will be covered by a minimum of 12 months, unlimited mileage warranty (the ‘Warranty’), giving You and Your customers peace of mind.
Should any genuine Toyota or Optifit branded Part require repair or replacement as a result of a manufacturing defect, the Part will be repaired or replaced free of charge under the Warranty.
The Warranty is only applicable to Parts purchased from an official Toyota Centre or Service Outlet in the UK.
Should a Part be received in a damaged condition, please contact the official Toyota Centre or Service Outlet the part was purchased from.
Eligibility
Only parts which have a manufacturing defect can be claimed under the terms of the parts warranty.
A Warranty claim can be made at any official Toyota Centre in the UK who will repair or replace the defective Part provided You provide Your original invoice as proof of purchase.
Damage or defects to any Part due to tampering, incorrect fitting by a repairer, workshop or customer who are not authorised by Toyota are not covered under the Warranty
Damage to any Part due to fair wear and tear are not covered under the Warranty.
Toyota vehicles should be serviced, maintained and operated in accordance with the servicing schedule and instructions contained within the Service Booklet and Owner’s Instruction Manual. The vehicle’s maintenance record will be checked to substantiate any claim made under the Warranty for a Part whose durability is affected by the standard of maintenance e.g. an engine.
Warranty Conditions per Eligible Part Type
The warranty period commences on date of the original purchase of the Part and the warranty period by component is listed in the table below. All other parts are excluded from the warranty.

Once a claim is made on the Warranty, the defective Part will be retained by the Toyota Centre.
General
The laws of England and Wales shall govern the construction, validity and operation of these Terms and the performance of all obligations hereunder without regard for England and Wales choice of law provisions. You and Us irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with these Terms.
Nothing shall exclude Our liability for death or personal injury in connection with the Warranty.
No third party can enforce these Terms.
No failure or delay by a party to exercise any right will constitute a waiver of that right nor restrict the further exercise of that right. No single or partial exercise of any right will restrict the further exercise of that or any other right.
You may not have the right to assign or sub-contract Your rights and obligations under these Terms.
These Terms constitutes the entire agreement between You and Us with respect to the subject matter of the Warranty and cancels and supersedes any prior understandings and agreements between You and Us with respect to the Warranty.
If any provision or part-provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed deleted, but that shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these Terms.
We reserve the right to hold, void, suspend, cancel or amend the Terms of the Warranty at any stage and without notice.
We shall not be liable for any delay or failure in the performance of Our obligations for so long as and to the extent that such delay or failure results from events, circumstances or causes beyond Our control.
